Memory Verse 2Peter 3:9

Aim:

To know that it’s possible for God abandon a vessel is not fulfilling his purpose.

Introduction

God is always willing to use any Vessel (Person) that allows himself or herself to be useful. For every Vessel made, the potterhas a purpose in mind, but as many that decided to go their own way and do their own things just like Saul, God will simply withdraw his support, leave them alone and allow them to do what pleases them.

  • Invest in it
  • If there is no change, then he abandons

  • You will lose God’s presence
  • You will not fulfil God’s purpose and lose God’s promise

E. What to do

  • Fear God and obey His commandments
  • Purge yourself of all sins

Conclusion

Do not think that because God is quiet about your unfaithfulness means he’s pleased with you or he’s helpless and does not have power to deal with you or he cannot see you or it is grace that is keeping you. God is only keeping quiet and waiting for you to change before he finally declares his judgement which is abandonment. God is merciful that even after declaring His judgement, if you change, he will welcome you back to himself.
