Acts 3:2-3 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)
2 and a man lame from birth, who put each day at the temple gate called beautiful, so he asked alms of those who entered the temple was brought.
3 this, when he saw Peter and John who were going to enter the temple, pleaded les that they should give him alms.

What do you want to receive when you go to church? By actually are there? What you are looking for? Do you attend just to be able to tell others who you go to church? Are there only to play a role that according to your way of thinking gives you a special position in your community? Are you there just to keep the peace in your family and avoid the constant nagging and the prayers of your spouse, or your MOM, or your children? Referring to John the Baptist, Jesus ask him once to a group of people:

11 Matthew 7.15
7 While they were going, Jesus began to tell John to people: what went ye out for to see the desert? A Reed shaken by the wind?
8 or what went ye out to see? A man covered in delicate garments? Behold, those who carry delicate garments, in the houses of the Kings are.
9 but what went ye out for to see? To a prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
10 because this is who it is written:
Behold, I send my Messenger before your face,
It which will prepare your way before you. m
11 Verily I say unto you: among those born of women no other major has been raised than John the Baptist; but the smallest in the Kingdom of heaven, greater is he.
12 Since the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it.
13 for all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
14 and if you want to receive it, he is the Elijah who was to come.
15 he who has ears to hear, hear.

It is a good question to ask ourselves:

Who are we going to see and hear in the Church?

If we go to church to hear the choir sing or listen to the preacher, we are making the same mistake that the lame man when he was led to the door of the beautiful that day. He was looking for the wrong thing. He was asking for alms; not expecting to receive healing.

We must also ask ourselves seriously about the way in which we see people that we find every day: how to see others? What do you expect from these meetings?

We often approach people in the same way that you did the lame. We are to the expectation that they will do with us. We are on the lookout to see that we get from others. Not interested in what God wants to do with us and through us.

I call this a spirit "they sonsacan" the person with this spirit is always looking for someone to help you to solve the problems. It is looking forward that can get others, or which can give you for free which is different from asking alms without any effort or responsibility on your part.

People with this spirit are manipulative. They use people, but really do not love, they seized persons and are looking to get them what they want, now or then it can be sex, money and adulation. They have little or no interest other people, out of which can get them to help you solve today and tomorrow.

God calls us to see when we see others, the nasa calls that I give to others that it gives to them as if we were receiving from the Lord himself

When we go to church, we must go with the hope that Dios will speak to our heart and heal our limp. When we find ourselves with other people should look at them with compassion open to receive the good thing with by telling us to encourage us in the Lord and also open for them and give them what God directs us to say and give

Beautiful publicacio I like the part as you have reviewed.

We go to the church to hear the choir sing or listen to the preacher, we make the same mistake as the lame when he was taken to the door of the beautiful that day. He was looking for something wrong. He was asking for alms; without waiting to receive healing.

In particular, I am going to the church to have a more intimate encounter with Jesus Christ, to praise the father, and to confirm what God has revealed to me throughout the week through his Holy Spirit.

beloved brother of the faith this is more than the whole center and this message that the world realizes that there is something better in the church than just going to listen or see others, the main thing is to seek the blessing that our father has for deliver us at that moment
