Happy those who recognize their need of God
Matthew 5: 3

We all long to one day find ourselves face to face with the King of kings and Lord of lords. Each one of us has dreamed how that special meeting should be, in more than one moment surely we wanted it to be as soon as possible.

And it is that the situations that life presents many times are hard, difficult and incomprehensible to the human mind.

Maybe you are going through a moment of those in which you do not understand the situation that you are going through, but I assure you that this situation has made you bend your knees.

And is that often the only way to humble ourselves sincerely before God is through the difficult situations that are presented to us. Do not you have when strong situations come to your life, for some strange reason you become more sensitive to the presence of God and your heart longs more deeply for your encounter ?, to me yes, and is that sometimes have to pass these situations so that we understand that we should not turn away from looking for him day by day, or from having genuine encounters with him.

In the famous sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches us fabulous principles to live a life full of happiness, not based on what the world is happiness, but based on the spiritual realm to which we belong, because we are in this world, but we are not his, our citizenship is not earthly, but spiritual, that is where we can realize that many times our happiness is overshadowed, when we long to seek it through the things that the world offers us and not through the principles spiritual that will make us reach it.

Our Lord Jesus said: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5: 3).

For our mind the first idea that comes to us when we read the phrase "poor in spirit" is weakness, lack of something or similar words or phrases, but the reality is different, since the phrase "poor in spirit" comes from a phrase Greek that translated means: "inclined", "kneeling" or "totally submissive". Also the word "Blessed" can be translated as: "Happy" or "Blessed".

Then we can see that the phrase "poor in spirit" has nothing to do with anything material, but with an attitude towards the search for God and the need for God.

That means that if we wanted to translate that phrase to understand it a little better we could translate it in the following way: "Happy those who recognize their need of God and submit themselves to Him, because theirs is the kingdom of heaven".

Beloved brothers, I do not know what situation may be happening, surely for you it must be very complicated, but let me say that when in you there is an attitude of subjection, of leaning your spirit before his presence, of being totally submissive to Him, it is there where God is pleased with you and calls you: "Blessed", in a few words "Happy" or "Blessed", and is that God does not see you as you currently feel, but what you will be, after going through that dark tunnel, God is not limited in time or space, that's why he already proclaims you "Happy" and "Blessed".

Jesus was showing us that the true happiness of life is not in the material riches, or in the good that you are for something, but in the HUMILITY that we have in front of the situations that life presents to us, that attitude of humility in front of God that will help us to get ahead in any circumstance and will make us inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

It is time to go before God with a humble and submissive attitude, recognizing our immense need for Him and our TOTAL dependence on His presence, that will make us take a great step of FAITH to reach His will and, along with His will, be enlisted as an immovable holder on the list of eternal life.

The TOTAL recognition of our dependence on God and the submission we show before his will will be the key that will make us part of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Humility, main characteristics to achieve the favor of the highest god. Thanks for sharing @renew2018.

We must be truthful with how we may be attempting to meet our deepest spiritual needs apart from Him. We must acknowledge our sin and our need for God and being poor in spirit is the only way we will allow Jesus to rule over our lives.
