Who is Jesus For you?

Shortly before they crucified Jesus, He wanted to be sure of what His disciples thought of Him, since they would be the ones who would carry the message to the whole world.

13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do the people say that he is the Son of Man?"
14 -Well, "they answered," some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah.
and others say Jeremiah or some other prophet.
15 Then he asked them:
-And you, who do you say that I am?
16 Simon Peter answered:
-You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.
17 Jesus answered:
-Blessed are you, Simon son of John, because my Father who is in heaven has revealed it to you. You did not learn it from any human being.

At that time, people thought that Jesus was only a prophet; today many people think the same, that he is a prophet like Krishna, Buddha or Muhammad; some also say that he is a good teacher and even a great person.

For you, who is Jesus?
When Jesus asked his disciples, "And you, who do you say that I am? Peter could answer that: he is the Messiah, which means the Christ or Savior; He recognized that he is the Son of the living God.

Today people also say that: Jesus is a son of God, like all of us, but the difference is, in that He already recognized Him.
Jesus is not a child of God anymore, Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God. God himself made flesh. To others, to us, God wishes to adopt us as children; by faith in Jesus Christ.

As Jesus told Peter, today we also know that we are living stones with a purpose.

4 And coming to Him as a living stone, rejected by men, but chosen and precious before God, 5 you also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God for Jesus Christ

The Father and the Son can be known only through revelation, whether from the Father or the Son; because the Son and the Father one are, they are God.
We can not know God simply by attending or being part of a religion; It is necessary that God reveal himself to our life, that the Father reveal the Son, or that the Son reveal the Father.
The Holy Spirit also bears witness to who the Father and the Son are.

If you have not yet received the Revelation of Who is The True God, today I just want to tell you that God wants and can reveal you to Jesus, because without Jesus we are lost ...
And God, He does not want anyone to be lost, but we all come to repentance and we can know Him as Savior and Lord.

Ask God with all your heart to reveal yourself to your life, to give you understanding and to send the Holy Spirit and He will do it.

13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him? "
