2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, on whom my name is called, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sins, and I will heal their land. RV60

These words are not addressed to everyone, nor are they addressed to the leaders of the church alone, much less to those who do not belong to the people of God. It says "If my people." These words were being addressed to the people of Israel in their time and now spiritual Israel is addressed to us today. These words are being directed for me and for you.

In today's culture, an arrogant and arrogant attitude is promoted. Wanting to do things our way is simply an act of lack of humility. By thinking that we have everything under control, that we do not need any person to solve our problems, we are demonstrating that in our interior there is a great lack of humility.

Most of the time we have problems and instead of looking for the Lord, we decided to resolve with our own strength, and in our own way. Many times we simply decide to "ignore" God and take an attitude of self-pity. Think of this simple question. How many times do we let circumstances knock us down and make us feel defeated?

The attitude that we must have is to prostrate before God to (humiliate ourselves) and thus deposit in him all our anxiety, worries, doubts, illnesses and difficult circumstances, and believe in his word, because he takes care of us. The Lord tells us that we should not worry about anything, that rather, on every occasion, with prayer and petition, we present our petitions to him, thanking him at all times.

This should make us think, if we are praying. if we are really taking time to present our petitions before God, or we are spending time pouring out our hearts in adoration to God in thanksgiving, this leads us to meditate and think if we are having good communication with our Heavenly Father.

Prayer implies having a communion with the father, and communion leads me to have a relationship and the relationship takes me to an intimacy with my father.

If my people are looking for me
We are living in times when evil has multiplied and the love of many has cooled down. We live in a time where selfishness prevails in the human being. Looking for a way to grow professionally, acquire a better working position, a material prosperity, and many other things. However, I want it to be clear that none of these things are bad, what is wrong is to be given the first place in seeking such achievements, when the first place we must give it is to God.

Remember if at some point you diligently look for something that got lost. We usually move furniture, we scrutinize under the bed, we turn everything we need and we make an effort and do what we can to find what we have lost.

Think that if you take that attitude before an object of "value" or the simple keys of the house, with what greater yearning we should look for God. When we look for something, we always have to make an effort to find it. We must rightly strive to seek God.

Do not look for him to see what he can give us, but look for his face to know him, as we seek to know him we will learn to be like him. That it is he who gives us the peace that surpasses all understanding and that which we need, who provides us with what we need and who strengthens us in times of difficulty.

Finding his face does not allow him to rest with the assurance that he will provide our spiritual, emotional and physical needs. Searching for the presence of God and his face will allow us to experience each and every one of God's attributes. He fills us with his grace so that wherever we live he will dwell in us.

If my people abandon their bad behavior

Our behavior is the way we behave or the actions we have towards other people. The behavior refers to the lifestyle of each human being. When God says "If my people forsake their wrongdoing", it means that if each person is converted to him from the heart, and turns away from all the iniquities and sins that we can have by ignoring his word, he will bless you. How will the Lord bless you if you stop your bad behavior? Making you free according to your search for him.

The Lord through the Holy Spirit, from His word gives you the tools so that you can persevere so that you can shape the character of Christ and receive the grace and glory that He has for you, that He can establish the heavenly designs in your life here and now.

Within the people of God, today we see the lack of fear of God, since we commit sins without even realizing it, as is the murmuring, by speaking badly of the leaders of the church or our coworkers. We commit sins of selfishness, where we seek is personal benefit. And we believe that the sins that only God sees and judges are those of not killing or stealing, because sin has no denominations, the sin of gossip is the same as stealing or killing.

So God is calling a people to serve him without masks in his heart, to turn from the evil way they are, because of iniquity; that we remove all the contamination that we have because iniquity operates in us.

I will listen to him from heaven, forgive his sin and restore his land.
When God speaks in this biblical passage, that he will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and restore our land, there is something important that the people of God must know and that while we are filled with iniquity the blessings reach us but they do not last us . Since you may be struggling with some sin, and leave it for a while, but at some point you fall back into the same sin or into a worse one.

Then until you do not attack the root of the problem that is iniquity, you can not walk in fullness and freedom, you must uproot it and renounce the generational curses that I bring with it.

Once you renounce them, God will hear your cry for being free of these curses that afflict us and have us tied to the enemy, will give us forgiveness because of our repentance and will restore us bringing blessings that will rest on us, which being free from iniquity they will have a place to stay attached.

We must examine ourselves daily, and act asking forgiveness from God and striving to change our way of living to resemble our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
