Steemchurch Philippines

Image Edited

Thanks to the vision and work of @Sirknight, our brothers in the Philippines will also have their own Steemchurch embassy,

further expanding the borders of the first Blockchain church that in less than a year has expanded in an accelerated and progressive manner, with each days plus the numbers of people who live within the community.

SteemChurch.

It is the first Christian church in the chain of blocks (Blockchain), founded by the legend of Steemit @Sirknight, this December of 2017. At the beginning were rewarded publications that made daily competition in the famous and known #celestialchellenge, daily challenge where the people published articles in relation to the daily theme, and that turned out to be a success, because this is where we got to know our apostles and we went to a very united relationship that creates what is currently the Steemchurch.

The Steemchurch has 9 apostles, appointed by Sirknight to build and extend their work across the length and breadth of the Blockchain and the world. Among the best known are the sister and apostle @Darlenys01, in charge of Steemchurch Venezuela, the Aposotol @Owoblow-steemit, in charge of the steemchurch Radio, the Apostle @Jaff8, the Apostol @Abiye in charge of the @Farms project, also the apostle @Marcelo182 creator of the official Steemchurch website: www.steemchurch.net.

The purpose of the creation of the first church in the Blockchain represents a unique level of social work and altruism on the part of the founder, who has used their resources and time for the realization of all these projects that only bring blessing and help for many.

The Philippine Republic, better known as the Philippine Islands or the Philippines, is an insular country of Southeast Asia located in the Pacific fire belt and consists of 7,107 islands that are divided into three large areas: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Its islands, mostly covered with a dense tropical forest, are rich in natural resources and host one of the most biodiverse areas in the world. Colonized in the first half of the sixteenth century by the then Spanish Empire, and then a short period by the United States of North America, with a Japanese parenthesis, the Philippines is today a combination of the eastern and western cultures of the planet, showing Malaysian traits , but also evidence of a past of Western influence. The official name of the Philippines was modified several times throughout history, but its name, Philippines, derives from "Felipinas", name imposed by Spanish colonizers in honor of Felipe II of Spain.

  • Capital: Manila  Official language: Filipino and English .
  • Religion: Christianity.
  • Currency: Philippine Peso (PhP) that is divided into 100 cents.
  • Climate: tropical maritime (warm and humid). With typhoons between July and September.

The city receives many visits a year for its many shops, historical and cultural sites, and for being there numerous governmental and educational branches.

Commonly called the cultural center of the Philippines, Manila is home to several important museums, such as the Bahay Tsinoy, which documents the lives and contributions of China in the history of the country.

Filipino Gastronomy.

The Filipino cuisine based mainly on rice, meat, fish and all kinds of tropical fruits we can taste a good number of exotic dishes cooked under a curious mixture thanks to its Malay, Spanish and Chinese influence.

Sinigang

The most typical and common soup of the Philippines. As a main seasoning you can bring pork, chicken, fish or seafood, you should cook with lime and some tamarind that will not, that will give you the necessary acidity you need to have its characteristic flavor. Some vegetables like pepper, onion, turnip and cabbage are also boiled in the pot. A little chili is added to give it a spicy touch and, of course, a bowl with white rice to accompany.

Pancit

The most common type of pasta in any Asian country. It is simply fried noodles with a high nutritional value and low fat content sauteed in a wok and usually accompanied by chicken breast, pork belly, soy sauce, green beans, peppers, garlic, carrots and cabbage or cabbage, There are two different variants, the pancit stew would go inside a chicken broth, while the pancit bihon would carry rice or egg noodles.

Kaldereta

It is one of those dishes of any Filipino menu where you can see the heritage of the Spanish colonization is a stew of beef cut into small pieces with natural tomato sauce and accompanied in its cooking of onion, pepper, garlic and potatoes.

Dinuguan

Dugo in Tagalog means blood, and that is the main basis for preparing this dish, a stew of minced pork with a sauce composed of its blood accompanied by chili, garlic and vinegar. You cook everything over low heat and you can add as a complement the typical glutinous rice cake called puto, just as it sounds.

Lato

Also called green caviar or sea grape, elto is a delicious type of seaweed. You can buy it at any market or even catch it near the coast at a very shallow depth. A plant rich in iodine, magnesium and calcium that you just have to wash well in fresh water taking care not to break your green pellets.

Halo Halo

The quintessential dessert of the Philippine archipelago. In a tall glass with crushed ice, the different ingredients are poured: cooked sweet beans and chickpeas, strips of coconut in syrup, banana and any kind of fruit, some scoops of ice cream, yam jam, cream and egg custard. The final touch will consist of condensed milk poured to the consumer's taste over all that curious mixture, really delicious, or masarap, as they say in the Philippines.

Small pig

As the name suggests, it is a roast pig and is usually the main dish at any party or celebration. The preparation begins once the carcass is opened and the entrails are filled with tamarind leaves, lemongrass and chives. After sewing the piglet with a bamboo stick inserted in your body to spin it over wood or charcoal you have to wait about six hours for it to be ready. Its tender meat and crunchy crust will have a delicious taste.
