SEVEN FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH: STEP FIVE

Step one Principle for Spiritual Growth is: LEARN TO FORGET

STEP THREE: LEARN TO PRAY
STEP FOUR: LEARN TO BELIEVE
Today we would be looking at the Fifth step For Spiritual Growth which is: LEARN TO WORSHIP!
In John 4, Jesus said to the Samaritan woman at the well:
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall WORSHIP the Father in SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship him in spirit and in truth
John 4: 23-24(King James Bible Version)
HALLELUJAH!
That means you don't have to be in a particular place to worship God.
A lot of people think you can't worship God unless you are in a Church building.
GOD doesn't dwell in buildings anymore.
Under the old Covenant, He used to dwell in the Holy of Holies in the temple. But, under the New Covenant he dwells in us. Our bodies-not some brick-and-mortar building-have become the temple of the living God 1st corinthians 3:16(King James Bible Version).
So learn to worship God with your spirit, not in some dead, formal way with your mental faculties or your soul.
The Lord has enabled us to worship him in Spirit and in truth because the Holy Spirit dwells in us. Also, by speaking in tongues we have a supernatural means of communicating with him.
(1 Corinthians 14:2).
Paul said in 1st Corinthians 14:2:
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaking not unto men, but unto God for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
King James Bible Version.
Moffatt's translation says
...he is talking of divine secrets in the Spirit.
Thank God for this wonderful means of communicating with the Father!. We need times of prayer when we get alone with God and worship Him in other tongues as well as with our understanding in our native tongue/language.
However, you may use all these adjectives as a disposal in your native language to tell God how wonderful He is, but your words will not suffice.
But when you begin to fellowship with Him in the supernatural language, some way or another your heart finds satisfaction.
Your spirit is in direct contact with the Father of spirits-the father of our Lord Jesus Christ-and your spirit is able to express your deepest innermost thoughts and feelings.
Take time to worship God. Learning to worship him will help you grow spiritually.

Many christian has forgotten about the principle of worship....they bomber God with prayers....forgetten that worship moves God..
Let take human being for instance...when you need something from them...and come straight and said....please i need 50k for instance ...it will take time for him to release the money.....but when you shower him with praises....he will even give you his last card....
How much more our heavenly father....we should test this principle ....and see the awesome feedback...

God is wonderful and do speak to us in different dimensions, so if we can learn how to worship God, easily God will find it comfortable to communicate with us.
Worshiping is a great instrument that give us a direct link to heaven.

Glad you noted the point that worship isn't just about singing worship songs while in church alone. It goes way beyond that. Worshipping Godshould a lifestyle, something we do in every second despite where we find ourselves. Even giving is an act of worship.

Glory be to God for this great message this morning I'm really touched with this my emphasis is on forgive and forget many people do forgive and don't forget even at times when will ask God for forgiveness of our sin many people still don't forgive themselves in there mind thinking that God will never forgive them about there wrong .
