FOODS THAT OVERBOUND

When it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, "The place is deserted, and the hour is past; fire the crowd, so that they go through the villages and buy to eat. Jesus said to them: They have no need to leave; give them you to eat. And they said: We have here only five loaves and two fishes. He told them: Bring them here. Then he commanded the people to lie down on the grass; and taking the five loaves and the two fishes, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he blessed, and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they all ate, and were satisfied; and they collected what was left over from the pieces, twelve baskets full. And those who ate were about five thousand men, not counting women and children. Matthew 14: 15-21

Jesus here fed more than five thousand people, we see how it was a miracle, where once again the Lord showed that He is our Provider, Jehovah Jireh.

And Abraham called the name of that place, Jehovah will provide. Therefore it is said today: In the mount of the Lord he will be provided. Genesis 22:14

Our God is the Provider of all things, the one who sustains our soul, our life, provides us with what we need; he is the one who provides us with our spiritual bread, just as many gave his body for life, he provided the lamb for Abraham, as well as the unblemished lamb that takes away the sin of the world.

For I received from the Lord what I also taught you: that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was delivered, took bread; and having given thanks, he broke it, and said: Take, eat; this is my body that is broken for you; Do this in remembrance of me. 1 Corinthians 11: 23-24.

We should always be grateful to offer that bread that gives us eternal life, which was made flesh by his word and we can see that from before it is prophesied that he is our provider and that he can miraculously multiply five loaves and two fish, so that we can eat and even for our children and that our offspring do not beg bread.

Then a man came from Baal-Salish, who brought to the man of God loaves of firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and new wheat in his ear. And he said: Give people to eat. And his servant answered: How shall I put this in front of a hundred men? But he said again: Give the people to eat, because thus says the LORD: They shall eat, and there shall be left. Then he set it before them, and they ate, and left them, according to the word of the Lord. 2 Kings 4: 42-44

Young I went, and I have aged,
And I have not seen just helpless,

So every day, let's give honor and glory to God for all that he provides us, for the food he gives us, for some dinner in a special place that we have; and for the body that He sacrificed on the Cross to give us life and life in abundance.
