Matthew 5: 3.

Hello brothers and friends of the steemchurch community.
Following the guidelines of steemchurch- Venezuela by our Apostle Darlenys for the Crusade of Freedom.

Today I also expose my contribution about this relevant and powerful topic.

The first teaching in which we all participate.

unanimous in a single title, but that has accumulated great teachings in all those who have had the privilege of studying it, also focused on a powerful vision in the first block chains, led by our friend Sirknight and the Apostle Darlenys.

I want to start by introducing this powerful word, which Jesus himself gave to his disciples, saying that one of the most powerful words that our Lord said to his disciples, he expressed it in the sermon on the mount.

These words have a particularity and that Jesus, when he wanted to talk with his disciples about the kingdom of God, always gathered them out of the crowd that followed him.

I am very struck by the fact that the terms most used today are:

"Trust yourself", "you can", "the power is in you", "you will achieve it, because you are strong" ... however we see a Jesus who is concerned about teaching his disciples the key to accessing all those words that people without God pretend to be.

When you ask someone if they want to be happy, they immediately respond- of course- everyone in the world wants to be happy and desperately seeks the means to seek that supposed happiness. Some think that being happy is about getting the best things in life, have possessions, good work, vehicle, good houses, a prominent family with good titles ... in short to have riches.

However, people do not understand that there is no greater poverty than the one who lacks God.

In that period of Jesus, the Jews expected a time of many possessions, a material kingdom, full of prosperity and glory, and Jesus aware of such a situation wanted to warn his disciples, that the pretensions of the Jews were wrong, so he went up with them to the side of a mountain and began to speak to them in order to correct what the Jews intended to introduce as true happiness.

And Jesus began with that patience, kindness and love that characterized him to teach his disciples the true nature of the kingdom, and the true principles that should govern the character of a follower of his Kingdom.

Perhaps some of them were surprised by his human condition of always thinking about the material, but his master says:

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"

What does it mean to be a Blessed One?

A blessed is a person who denotes happiness, refers to an inner condition, and it is that condition that Jesus exalts here. Jesus wanted to tell him - the poor in spirit are:
Blissful, blessed, happy, worthy to be congratulated.

Jesus always exalted the inner condition of man and that was his concern, about his followers, He wanted to care for what is most precious in man- "his heart".

Jesus knew that this was where all things were kept, that is why he wanted them to keep true spiritual poverty in their hearts.

What did Jesus want to tell them that they should be poor in spirit?

Notice that Jesus always taught his disciples and even gave him lessons and examples about humility. What Jesus was transmitting to him at that time was the following:

You, my followers, must totally lack pride and self-confidence, you must understand that without me you can do nothing.

Rebellion, self-centeredness, lack of forgiveness, self-sufficiency, vainglory ... must be absent in their hearts.

You, to attain happiness, will have to depend absolutely on God, because whatever you achieve, remember that God comes from the hand of God.

Do not trust in the possessions you have, or your talents, or natural abilities, because of all this, I have provided them.

Notice that your forces do not even depend on you, what they have of me come from.

Look also and realize that they need the grace of God to be able to live.

The poverty of spirit is in recognizing the need of God in his life, and submitting to his will, recognizing his grace and his favor in all areas of his life.

Spiritual poverty reveals that we are not worthy of his grace, because we are sinners and infidels, but in turn we understand that because of that need of the soul, we need God to fill that void, which only He can fill.

The poor in spirit is the one who sows for the spirit, seeks first the kingdom of God and his justice and is more concerned about spiritual things than temporary and temporary ones.

The poor in spirit do not believe that the greatest objective of life is to accumulate material wealth, (God does not provide), but when they have, the poor in spirit is considered as an administrator of the material possessions that have been given by the Mr.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, because they are able to recognize their humanity before God, and to seek Him with all their hearts.

Very clear teaching @taty17 word of divine revelation, this encloses everything, humility and trust in God, not in men or possessions. Thank you for sharing.

Each sermon is a dose to illuminate more our spirit on the concept of BEATITUDES. Excellent @taty17
