Stubbornness.

Hello everyone, greetings to y'all.

Today I bring you the word of God about the topic stubbornness. But before I proceed I would like to tell you a short story concerning the topic.

Once upon a time, there lived two friends who were followers of Christ and was happy they found the lord Jesus Christ. Before they got married, the life they lived wasn't pleasing unto Christ. They attended night parties, smoked, drink, lure girls into fornication and in all they stealed all in the name of to live comfortable in the world, since they weren't born into an affluent family background.

During those days, they felt that a man has to do what he has to do in this world not minding the circumstances surrounding it. When ladies who try to convert them to change their ways, all they want was to have fornication with them.
On a blessed day they went to rob a family, they killed the father of the first home they went to rob because he wasn't willing to give them what they wanted. He proved stubborn and they were angry, which made them to do what they did by killing him.
They went to the second family which happens to be the home of a pastor. At first the pastor didn't wanted to cooperate with them but he did when the holy spirit instructed him to give them what they ask for. After robbing the family, they left.

On their way home they had an accident which left them unconscious on the road side. In their pull of blood people were passing without showing any concern, not until a man worked up to the scene and saw what happened. He wanted to contact anyone closer to the victims to tell them what happened. The passer-by took the phone in the car to call but it happened the phone was locked. He was about dropping the phone when it rang, and it happened to be the pastor who they stole the phone from. He was calling to tell the thieves to change their way and what he got to heard was the thieves had an accident.

The pastor took the two victims to the hospital, gave them the treatment they deserve and in a month plus they were able to regain consciousness, responded to treatment and in no time they were healed.

The incident converted them to be the followers of Christ and after some years they got married.
They continued to preach the word of God in peoples life and God blessed them for that. After some months, the holy spirit spoke to them to dispose the things they stole while in the world by giving it out.
The first man did as they were told but the second refused saying that how will his family now lived if those things are taken from him. Then the unexpected happened, the things he stole before, came hunting him back by incriminating him and he was arrested.
The first man who did as the Holy Spirit told him received blessings in ten folds back while the one who proved stubborn was imprisoned.

In Hebrews 3: 7-10, it says;
7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

Stubbornness is something you shouldn't be found in because it's against the lord will. You should know that the lord has a reason for telling you to do something even though it's not okay with you. Been disobedient won't take you anywhere due to the fact that God ways ain't the ways of man.

Just like in the case of the two friends, the first friend listened to the holy Spirit without thinking of what the future holds, while the second one wasn't and it lead to his downfall.

Things You Tend To Lose.

When you disobey christ, you tend to lose;

- His Blessings

- His Favour

- His miracle in your life

- His plans for you.
