Be humble And remember that you can lie to other people and yourself, but never think you can lie to God.

If you really want to repent, you must be humble of heart and admit that you do not always do the right thing. Be humble before God and recognize from the bottom of your heart that He is right and you have to live according to his teachings and his love.

You have to believe that God will forgive you and help you have a better life.

if you do not, you will lose the motivation to compensate for the damage you caused. Changing bad habits and making mistakes is difficult but not impossible.
