TAKING STEP IS VITAL

Basic Scripture: Acts 3:7( KJV)

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength.

In life we all tend to observe most of the things that occur around us. I happen to be a partaker of this interesting phenomenon. In view of this, today's devotion will be centered on one of the numerous observations I have made about Christians. What is this observation?

Well I have realized that when believers are asked whether they have faith, most of the response you get are in the affirmative. However this is not entirely true. Most believers lack faith. They only profess with their mouth but do nothing to prove that indeed they have faith. You may be wondering why I am saying this.

This is because anytime most believers express their faith it lacks something. The faith of most Christians is void of actions or works. Bear in mind that faith without works is dead as the scripture says. From today's anchor text we realize that in the preceding verse Peter had commanded the lame man to get up and walk.

However Peter didn't end there. He took a step. He made a move. He didn't just speak and stood. He spoke and he took a step by holding the man by his hand and urging him to get up. Beloved take note that it was at this point that the man received his healing. Therefore beloved faith is not just about professing with your mouth but it involves making a move.

Your faith would only work when you take a step. This is very vital or pivotal for the manifestation of the miracle or breakthrough you may be expecting. Beloved , my sincere prayer for you is that God should grant you the wisdom and courage to always take action to support the faith that you have and you will see that indeed God has bestowed power unto us.
