THE FRIENDLINESS OF LIGHT

KJV-Gen 1:3-4 And God said let there be light and there was light
And God saw the light that it was good, and God divided the light from the darkness

It is important to note that the first word that came out of the mouth of God as He commenced His Creation was "Let there be light......"(Gen 1:3). God spoke light into existence through his word. Darkness disappeared as soon as God commanded light to appear.

Verse 4.....says God saw the light that it was good, every other thing he does stands on the basis of light. He doesn't operate in darkness.
There is a dreadfulness known about darkness that is not known to light.

In the place of dread, light offers delight, in the place where darkness offers fear,light offers friendship.
You discover that the way you move, work in darkness is not the same way you operate in the light.

There is liberty in light. Darkness limits you in every aspect.
The light I am talking about in this context is the light which is in Christ.
Jesus Christ is the LIGHT in himself. Talking about the friendliness of light is talking about
the friendliness of Jesus.

The friendliness of Jesus is most manifested in his love for man.
Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13)
Light is love. Love is light, Jesus in life and ministry demonstrated this Maxim.

We as Christians must be friendly. We cannot win others to Christ in hatred and nonchalant attitude.
There is no hatred in light, there is no light in killing one another in the name of religion or race. You must be friendly with people around you, you cannot be a snub.

Live an attracting life of light. Do not repel people from Christ with your attitude.
For there are many things light can offer which are in Christ Jesus.

We all know that the world today is in darkness. The thickness of it cannot be denied even by die hard skeptics. Darkness is the prevailing system of today which ahbors transparency and godliness. Murders, corrupt practices,fornication,adultery, terrorist activities, stealing, killing are all part of the thickening darkness.

God is speaking today again, He is simply calling for the manifestation of his sons and daughters.
He is calling Christians to "Arise shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee".

God spoke and light promptly responded. You must respond by arising to shine.
Once you arise in obedience to do what God is urging you to do, you begin to shine.

The only way to shine this light is to make friends with the source of this light. Friendliness of light is friendliness of Jesus.
Make friends with Jesus Christ and begin to shine your light.
