We made the HVOTE Token better
The HVOTE token exists now for 3 months and we are in generall very happy with its development. So far the token value develops at a rate of around 18% p.a. But like with everything there are some things that need to be improved. We have realised that the spread between buying and selling price on the marekt dissuades people from buying the token. This is understandable because the spread defines the time till the token can be sold at profit. The higher the spread, the longer you have to wait till you can realize a profit with the HVOTE Token.
Dynamic amount of new tokens put on the market every week
At the beginning we had decided to put every week 100 tokens on the market. However we wanted to make sure that when new tokens were issued, the existing owners wouldn't have any losses. This meant that while fixing the sales price, we had to consider the possibility that all new tokens would be sold. The sales price was thus fixed according to 100 new sold tokens. The problem with this approach is that the sales price was according very high compared to the Token value (SP of Happyvoter account divided by number of tokens in circulation).
The answer we came up with is to fix the number of tokens sold every week dynamically to the number of tokens in circulation
This means that every week an amount of Tokens corresponding to 4% of the tokens in circulation is put on the market. This small measure will drastically reduce the spread between sales- and buying prices of the HVOTE token.
A big step to make HVOTE an interesting investment
So far the spread between the sales- and the buying price was around 10%. With this new adaptation, the spread will now be around 5%. So investors will only need to hold the token for around 2 months before they enter the profit zone!
Why should you invest in HVOTE
So far there are not many tokens on steem-engine that develop positively in manner of price. HVOTE is a perfect investment vehicle because, expressed in steem, in can only gain in value. If you own at least 2% of the HVOTE tokens in circulation, you will not only profit from the value increase of the token, you will also get a systematic upvote to all your posts by the @happyvoter account.
Big Token holders
To be a Big Token holder, you need to own 2% of the HVOTE Token in circulation. As a big token holder you get all your posts systematically upvoted by @happyvoter as long as you own 2% of the tokens. New Big Token holders are defined each week in the context of the weekly update:

Number of Tokens needed this week to be a Big Token holder: 21
Maximum number of Tokens needed to be Big Token holder next week: 22

Where can I spend the token?
The concept of the HVOTE token is to be an investment vehicle that is underlayed with a real steem account (@happyvoter). The Steem Power of the account defines the value of the token. Every week we define a sales and a buying price according to this token value.
From the income of the underlying account, we take a part that is destined to put buy orders on the market. So every week a certain amount of tokens can be sold back. The amount depends on the amount of steemp available on steem-engine.
