From the over one thousand five hundred Cryptocurrencies, Steem is one of the underrated ones. This is not a mere saying; there are facts that back these claims up, talk about the scalability, fast transactions, and friendliness in use. But the bone of contention is not the Blockchain properties but how it has touched lives and disrupted and offset the conventional economy blueprints.

Let me delve into the cultural and social advantage of the Steem Blockchain now, Steemfest 3 in Krakow Poland is in hours’ time, Steemit In Nigeria event season two just wrapped up, all in the name of a Token, what could possibly be more harmonising and culturally acceptable in various corners of the World than this?

A token built on a platform that defies the laws of censorships and Government acceptance, changing lives in turns in season and out of season!

More emphases need to be stated, in the name of decentralization, the steem Blockchain has created a bridge over the great barriers of distance, race, and culture; Africans, Europeans, Yankees, Latinos, Aboriginals, Eskimos, the French, Britons and many more are now united courtesy of the steem blockchain.

A new way of life was born when steem came into existence, where there are no disparities between the rich and the poor, foreigners and natives sharing a common goal of interacting and operating with a social responsibility patented to empower as many people all over the world as possible out of the 7 Billion inhabitants of the World through the disruptive power of the Blockchain Technology.

“If there is any continent that needs the Blockchain, it is Africa”- Chris Ani

These words keep ringing in my head, Steem has created a pathway for Africans and several other Developing Nations of the World, there is a little form of liberation from the clutches of poverty and underdevelopment visible to anyone paying attention.

However, this has put Nigeria on the map, with one of the most active users on the Steem Blockchain and a couple of more decentralized platforms, this signifies the beauty of early adoption which the Steem eco-system had foster, just what a country or continent needs according to “Chris Ani” to be free from Government and political imbalances.

Steemit In Nigeria is one the tools, social events that educate and orientate new users of the Blockchain what a Nation or community stands to benefit from such an amazing technology.

Steemfest is another, a more established gathering for Steem Festival for people all over the World created by witness @roelandp, celebrating the socializing power of a token so underrated but most impactful than the ultimate Bitcoin.

Steem/Steem Back Dollars (SBD) has done something no other Cryptocurrency has been able to achieve, without making the top twenty tokens on CoinMarket Cap, steem and SBD still has one of the fastest transactions per block, moreover, every other incentivising social platforms got the ideas using Steemit Blueprint, what more can a token be proud of if not trailblazing for others!

In just a matter of time, global and massive adoption will be attained much more than it is known now. What Smart Media Tokens have in stock come early parts of 2019 remains a mystery, but before then, let it be known that Steem is not just a token; the cultural and social benefits coupled with its economic advantages in most developing Countries had made it an envy of every other projects and Altcoins in existence!
