Nano Retina Eyeglasses proves to be a good step in enabling people suffering from retinal degenerative diseases to actually stand a better chance in life. It comes with a button which will enable the patient in controlling varieties of light settings. For the glasses to work, the patient will be inserted an implant in the eyes and this will work wirelessly with the glasses.

you read about this and it seems so god damn cool but key thing should be the eye implant and glasses should be generic? don't get me wrong, the product overall with its targeted utility and the hunt is great but i am just wondering if glasses with a button that controls light is really something new? the spin on the whole thing is questionable.
This is a great idea that will help the disabled and it will also make people more accustomed to cybernetic implants making cool human upgrades more of a thing that isn't very feared in te future. It'll also be a great learning opportunity for many researchers in the field.
As for concerns what about hacking? I'm afraid of being g a smart home user after things I've seen on Mr. ROBOT. Eye is more important than a house. I love to see the tech improve. But I also want to see good security ☺
