Sola.ai is a social media platform build on top of ETH blockchain and they have there own token named SOL and you can earn this token just by posting.

I think Sola can be a good investment if you are interested in social media platforms and their expansion. The tokens are generally very cheap, so there’s not that much risk in investing if you do not do it in big quantities.

This is not competing with steemit in any way. Steemit is its own competitor. Sola is another version of proof of brain to earn sol but far from what Steemit is all about.

Those two things are basically an oxymoron. STEEM can repeat every ETH transaction 100 times and it still won't be a huge deal for the STEEM blockchain. Sol doesn't have other DAPPs built on it either. I know we don't have SMTs yet. But we do already have @steemhunt @steemmonsters @dlike and many other projects.
But in the bright side, if you have some good posts on STEEM you can repost them on Sol and get some extra crypto income. Since Sol is built on Ethereum, you can always exchange it for ETH and ETH is always easy to trade and it is highly liquid.
We can even promote STEEM on Sol while we have or discounted account creation process. Great Hunt. I actually think this can help STEEM although indirectly. Plus extra crypto tokens is always nice.

I don't think I had a pleasant experience using sola. Can't remember the last time I opened the app, this hunt just reminded me. Is the coin even worth anything now?
well first of all this is a no competitor to steemit, i didn't give my upvote based on reviews tho, cause i feel all platform can boom in no time under the blockchain
I've been using it occasionally since its very beginning (the name was Plag and it was a non-blockchain project at first).
I feel like their content quality has become worse after they added crypto rewards feature on it.
I used Sola for a while and I can say that it was a terrible experience. The platform is riddled with ads, I signed up early this year , it was nice at first but things rapidly went downhill. There were ads lurking at every corner and the amount of SOL they were aksing people to pay to disable ads were riduculous

I heard about Sola before even I tried to use it, it is so hard to understand how that works. It will never be a competitor to steemit :D
This app is more likely the same with instagram but i think it is not the competitor. I already have this and i find it cool at the first glance, after awhile i deleted it because i think it is not really functioning well.
I have an account there... Is nothing compared to steem. Very limited platform, and weird way to tag and catalogue.
