GifCam is an app that works like a camera that stays on top of all windows so you can move it and resize it to record your desired area.
Features
You can record any part of the screen: into an animated *.gif image.
Gifcam automatically optimizes the output file. reduces the file size.
Offers many options like changing the number of colors (can reduce the file size more,) removing some frames and changing the delay of frames.
Can be used in many creative ways: like sending an animated message with just notepad and GifCam.

Good application for making gifs. You can save part of any video and you can gif that way. a product with many superior features. Thanks for this hunt.
I am a big fan of GIFs as they are now going to replace most images / videos in our day to day conversation, because the size matters a lot, when you convert the videos to GIF. And also, it can be played in any browser, so they are compatible to most devices / apps. This one gives one more extra reward, by allowing us to create GIFs directly. Bookmarked, and will use it going forward.
