First-ever blockchain-powered scientific ecosystem!!

Hunter's comment

These days scientific activities are really limited and bureaucratized (they need to do a lot of unnecessary actions).
Scienceroot is like a Steemit but for more specific audience - for everyone interested in science.

One of the problems in traditional scientific publishing is that in almost all cases only successful results are published.
But negative results are required to make progress. And to some extent science nowadays is centralized.
The main purpose of Scienceroot which is decentralized is to solve these problems as well as the following:

  • collaboration
  • publication (open access to all articles/papers for everyone)
  • funding

These opportunities will be open to anyone on the Earth.
This system uses its own currency - Science Token (ST).

You can join it on Twitter also for more information and on Steemit (where it's not very active).

This sounds amazing because I know how hard it is to find collaboration, in any field but, this seems to fix a lot of issues, not just that. I love the fact that is decentralized and on the blockchain because then nobody can hide somebody's work. All I can say is that I hope this dapp will grow more and reach a bigger audience.

Keep on hunting.

thanks, I hope so too )

Pros and Cons
Pros:
-Exactly something that needs to be solve for the science field
-Steemit could of replaced this

Cons:
-Need scientific community to join is a big problem

I was wondering in which blockchain it is based, and in the end of the video I heard it is based on Ethereum and this is cool, it would be better if it would be on Steem of course. And I like its other feature that uses IPFS to. Interesting project, but still looks on a ICO-phase.

I think science can really benefit from the block chain. Like you said there is way to much bureaucracy these days with scientific studies, too many experiments funded by the wrong people and people afraid of being critical because of external forces. This is great for the future of science

Truly, the blockchain technology is our present technology and applications. Keep the hunt rolling dear hunter!

thanks, I will )

I was interested because he looked like Steemit. However, this platform is for more specific audiences or for anyone interested in science. It is good to see successful and unsuccessful progress in this decentralized environment. As a result, success can be achieved by doing many experiments.

It encourages all scientists to share their hypotheses and advances in their research and encourages them to do so, a good objective for this community.

This is really an excellent way for those whose publications and collaborations are more focused from a scientific point of view have a greater and better audience, also so that they can monetize their content better.

Great hunt.
