Every software development team will have multiple tasks to be done. Best way to do common tasks is through automation. Capistrano helps in automating common tasks done by different teams during development lifecycle.

With this tool, we have the freedom to create our own scripting plans along with the execution of arbitrary tasks. It is also not mandatory to manage Capistrano as an individual tool and instead it can be integrated with any bigger ruby tool because we have the scripting capabilities.
