With LyricsX, you can automatically download lyrics from the Internet and display them on the desktop and in the menu bar, LyricsX is an add-on for iTunes, Spotify and Vox

When I'm listening I usually check its lyrics first to understand it. This tool seems amazing as it gives you a menu to discover the lyrics directly.
