Created by Specialized, this small gadget could be a life saver for bike riders.
The Angi sensor is linked with your IOS or Android device, and calls for help when it detects that you may have had an accident. This is done by contacting your selected contacts and sending them your most recent GPS co-ordinates.
This could really be a life saver, especially for adrenaline junkies who go riding and off roading by themselves. This makes me think of the TV show 'I shouldn't be alive', and how a small device could be the difference between life and death!
The Angi sensor is also reasonably priced, and so is something that all serious riders should consider.

This is a super device. Riding a motorcycle is dangerous. Fortunately not so many of my friends do, but one did and he passed away a half a year or so ago driving his motorbike. But that aside; Any device that connects people with other in time of need, I think is pretty damn cool! So is this one, and it deserves to become the number one hunt of the day.
Thanks - yeah I agree that safety is very importan, and it is often overlooked. I think this device could save many lives!
Life saver devices are huge help to humanity. I am just imagining how many lives this would save or would have saved if many bikers who went missing or crashed with no immediate help. Tech like this should be supported by government and made available for all at cheapest rate.
I used to ride alot as a child, and this would have been great to have. Some of my friends did some extreme jumps, and I imagine having something like this would give piece of mind.
I agree that having it funded by government would be a great idea!
I've been writing for bike accessories for quite some time and got a chance to study MIPS, the tech the unique functionalty of this helmet is based on. It's great to see a long list of global brands using this tech since its inception back in 1996. This is excellent hunt conradt.

Superb hunt...
In case of emergency seconds can make difference... A lot of riders die in road accidents and also adventure seekers who always try to perform difficult stunts...

How does its sends the signal to emergency contact???using cellular network????

Yeah it sends a message though cell network. If you are expected to go out of range you can set your expected ride time before you leave and it will message your contact if you aren't back by the expected time - cool!
Not so bad a product for those that love biking. Especially those mountains and deserts bikers

I'm thinking this could... I suppose........ be useful but experience of the rider with the sense of balance would be my go to crash detector.

This could be a life saving device. Through, it's hard to get control of your bike when you're on full speed yet let's hope even if it succeeds to save one, it's a savior. Good work @conradt. Hunt is on.
