I've never surfed but I can imagine that it's not the most "take anywhere" sport because of the nature of the hugeness of the boards!
This ex Apple engineer seeks to fix that with his 2PRT (get it??!) surfboard, which can fit in the trunk or back of a car and also saves you extra baggage fees on flights. :D

I'm not a surfer either but, I do suppose that it's not easy to carry around that kind of boards. When you talk about a two-piece anything, you kinda expect it not to be as good or stylish as a classic one but, this seems to nail it. I really enjoy its design.

sad days, i remember when that brand felt like wonkas magical chocolate factory- im certainly not a fangirl but they had something special- still do in some ways but those were the golden years it seems (maybe that's what all old people say) lol @guyfawkes4-20

Hi @dayleeo, Surfing and traveling is a double edged sword. On the one end, it’s a great way to see the world and score world class surf in the process. On the flip side, surfers too often get skewered by airline companies overcharging for surfboard bags (up to $150 each way in some instances). Thank's for this successful HUNT
wow 150 in extra fees huh!? I can see why the inventor was so passionate in this case, im lucky because my yoga mat can go anywhere with me, but id be gutted if my favorite sport was so much of a pain - thanks for the thoughtful comment @steeimran !
