The Augmented Reality sandbox can be used by several children and adults. Like a normal sandbox, levels can be changed and redesigned, but here they create new habitats for different plants and marine life. Children explore their imagination when they build mountains out of sand and dig up waters. The sensor recognizes the physical changes of the sand, whereupon the projection of water, landscape and the reaction of the animals to the environment takes place in real time.

Another great example of what can be done with AR, I have seen something like this before but nothing as fun and interactive to this level, it can also be a interesting new and fun way for children to learn. The Animated SandBox recognises the physical changes in the sand and so the reaction's of the animals take place in real time as you change their surroundings.
