Here comes the alternative to the plastic straws of which 3 billion are destroyed every day and pollute the environment. "Halm" is a glass drinking straw that is reusable and environmentally friendly. It is made of extremely stable special glass and can therefore be easily cleaned in a dishwasher. Glass is tasteless, hygienic, reusable and can be completely recycled. It is therefore much better suited than plastic, metal, paper or natural materials such as bamboo or straw.

This solves a HUGE problem. Given there are several glass straw manufacturers out there, the global effect of a change such as this is enormous.

Simple, innovative and eco-friendly. ANything that will reduce the amount of plastic in the environment is totally cool to me. I hope this particular gas straw is durable enough though.
I just hope that what ever food business comes to use these glass straws, they will wash and sanitize it properly.
This is just like my Hunt last week, ocean plastics are recycled to be another plastic bottles again. Great hunt, and Wish you an awesome day!
Wow grass straw this is Indeed lovely. We having more technology which is trying to kill out plastic waste out there. At least with this been recycled, we will see more cleanliness.
Well I was not aware of the fact that almost 3 billion straws are destroyed everyday. Off course it is the big source to make the environment dirty Halm in this regard is a wonderful idea to reverse the whole process with wisdom and intellect.

A glass straw is a very nice solution to the problem of plastic waste from traditional straws. Plastic straws are a large and un-necessary single use plastic item contributing to pollution. The benefits of glass are that it is re-usable, recyclable and hygienic. Nice Hunt.

I have seen about environmental pollution caused by plastic straw on TV. Glass straw may be one of the ways to prevent this environmental pollution. However, you should be careful when using the glass because it can be dangerous if it breaks.
