AudioCoin - running on it's own blockchain - is geared towards adoption in the Music industry.
An entire eco-system will be build around this blockchain; for instance an streaming music service and marketplace will be added through the revamped Aurovine service in Q3'19.
From the early days, both Björk and Imogen Heap already supported AudioCoin by respectively selling a new album accepting AudioCoin, and publishing a new album in the beta version of Aurovine.
Late last year the coin was used at the SXSW Festival. With a special designed app, AudioCoin rewards where offered to the festival participants when nearing a festival venue.
Also in 2018, Miloco Studios used the coin at one of their Open Day events; AudioCoin was given to guest and used for promotional prices.
