Houseparty is group video chat app that is currently available on your Mac desktop. With Houseparty you get connected and chat with up to eight people at the same time. From your Mac log in with your Houseparty username, wave your friends, call them and even join a room.

Houseparty app on Mac:
Make connecting face to face seamless, alert you when your friends are “in the house”, enter in to the conversation straight ahead. Also when you open the app your friends will also be alerted knowing you arr in the house ready to chat.

Pros:

Especially designed for video calls it is optimized for an easy handling

Cons:

Reminds me of a Skype Video Call, this would be pretty similar
Most people do not have this app on their mobile phone -> no video call possible

Awesome app that is convenient for a large group of people
Ability to enjoy interactive conversation
low privacy risk
Free to download

Cons:

Only available on Mac
A lot of competitors using this similar kinds of apps
