Revolution timing sensor mostly locate on the gear. These usually detect magnetic flux variations which generate by the teeth of gear wheel and alternation of presence and absence teeth of the gear wheel, or the cam relief. Magnetic flux variations are convert into an electrical signal by the reading , Control unit check this reading depending on the sensor .
