Sunlight affects the aging or damage of the skin. Among them, ultraviolet rays are the most important factor in skin. I would like to introduce you to an effective product that helps prevent skin effects by accurately measuring these ultraviolet rays. This is "Shade UV Sensor".
Price $299
at least 5x more accurate than other available low-cost UV sensors
app starts with clinical limits of UV exposure known to trigger skin redness for the main skin types

Staying out of direct sunlight is something many of us are now aware of - as it can damage skin. This is especially driven-home in areas where the ozone layer is weaker and in hotter climates.
But whilst I can see the benefits of this technology, and I'm on-board with what they're trying to achieve (and promote), I can't see this taking off in its current state.
Most people are aware when they're in direct sun, and can move to shade without being told to by a device/app/reporting. And even those who forget (which is easy to do), I think they'd be put off by the size of the device they have to wear. Maybe when it's the size of a shirt-button?
And, also the price would very much put me off. I understand that producing tech of this nature is costly, but I can't see a high number of people being willing to pay this much for a "reminder".
Promising tech, on the right path, though - nice hunting.

I livee in hot area and i hate sun light on my skin specially in summer and other reason is sun light have ultra rays which reach on earth due to ozone lyer is weak . So UV Sensor is good for prevent the Ultra rays on your body. Nice productive Hunt.
The depletion of the ozone layer is more harmful to the ultraviolet rays.

Sunlight gives us Vitamin D but too much Vitamin D is dangerous for our skin. Innit? To avoid UV rays, we use Sunscreen of different brands to overcome them if we used to step outside every day. Never seen this sensor in the market that can protect our skin from damage. Great
Thank you for your comment
after an entire life in the sun without protection this is something I really think is great. I think it would be shocking to know how much exposure we actually get and this would be a great tool to avoid or at least prepare for that exposure. I'm not liking the high price tag but I assume this will come down in the future

An awesome wearable sensor.
UV rays are the leading cause of skin cancer(especially with decreasing ozone layer thickness)...
This sensor is of utmost importance for people or athletes who get more exposed to sunlight than normal people.
Keeping track of UV exposure and managing it is a nice preventive strategy.
