VR technology has seen more use in entertainment than in healthcare. LookBack is one of few VR apps that help people with Demantia. It takes them back to favorite places, events and occassions to stimulate fond memories. From the comfort of their chair for example, Older people can revisit their favorite vacation spot. This is called immersive reminiscence therapy. It is costly in real life, but VR has made it affordable.
