Drive.ai is a fully autonomous driving car.

Drive.AI develops an artificial intelligence Software for self-driving vehicles. First, the Silicon Valley startup posted the video showing a fully autonomous car driving on a rainy night without any human interaction.

The goal of the young company, created in 2015, is to deploy a float of driverless cars around Frisco, Texas as a transportation service, similar to Bus transportation for example.

Pros:

I truly believe this will make traffic faster... with everyone driving at the same speeds and removing driver variance out of the equation.
People can do other tasks while they are in their cars, making the process way more efficient.
People who cannot drive will suddenly be far more mobile.

Cons:

Will increase traffic on the roads as driving becomes easier.
People will eventually forget to drive, like I have no idea how to hunt and/or gather.
Still requires legalities to change... if there is an accident, who is at fault?

I really hope they get the driverless cars figured out before I get much older. I'm going to need them :)
