Cisco has an environment that promotes innovation, and you can develop any ideas you have to make something. Employees at the Cisco San Jose campus took turns to test a brain computer interface (BCI) headset to control a robotic ball. If you smile, the ball moves forward, if you frown, it goes backwards and when you clench up in anger, it stops. This can be very helpful going forward for people who are speech impaired to control things with their minds. It's still a prototype and there's a lot more to do. This design was made possible because Cisco provides a "thingQbator" which is a space for people to make their ideas a reality.

I've been reading this article and I am very impressed by the innovation program that helped to facilitate this creation.

There are many ways that this could be used. Among them, besides those mentioned- emotion regulation exercise which could benefit personal development and reduce suffering.

There is an urgent need.. no, necessity in tech industry and business overall: a strong injection of ethics and an overhaul in a few areas because as much good that can come of this there is equally dark potential. Tech is positioned to destroy everything that people take for granted. Privacy is just the first that comes to mind. If it can be hijacked, it will be. We need to find and employ sages to develop greater wisdom, a concept that has been undermined for too long.

This is a very interesting product since it can help later those people who are immobilized due to an accident or illness. I like that science and technology advance in this way. Very good Hunt @fredkese
