Men have always wanted to fly. Seeing the birds fly while looking up at the sky has always filled men with awe and a bit of jealousy. For all of our supposed supremacy, lesser beings are capable y actions which we are not. People got to work and the aeroplane was invented.
But then, human wants are insatiable. Not everyone can afford a plane but everyone wants to fly. Moreover, why should I only get to fly when travelling long distances? Why can't I fly to my place of work everyday?
People started thinking of flying cars and if we'll be sincere, it would be really cool. Wouldn't it be nice flying around and avoiding all of the traffic congestion we have to battle everyday. Well, welcome to future, I present to you the Kitty Hawk's Flyer. Just like almost everything else, there are two sides to it and some of these are listed below.
Merits:
The technology behind it is quite enviromental friendly as the vehicle is powered electrically
with Lithium Polymer batteries. It is easy to ride. Someone who had no previous flying skills was able to ride it perfectly after about an hour's lecture.
It doesn't require any special take off or landing area, making it much cooler than an aeroplane.
If accepted by the general public, it can scrap the need for building new roads or repairing old ones and thus, funds that would normally go into that can be diverted into other ventures.
Flying cars can serve as air-ambulances and can get people requiring urgent medical attention easily to the hospitals.
If one owns a flying car, one can avoid traffic congestions and get to their destinations in record time.
It is small and thus requires just about the same space for parking as a normal car.
Demerits:
The lithium polymer battery which powers the vehicle only lasts for about 20 minutes (at least for now).
The vehicle might not gain as much acceptance by the public as one would expect.
If it is eventually accepted, new vehicle regulatory standards will be required.
It might be really expensive and not just available to anyone, thus widening the gap between the rich and the poor even further.

An interesting concept having a plane based on electric power, but as long as I can research this product is only available for New Zealand which makes this product a local one.
Wish you good luck with your next hunt~!
1. Post a "Product," not a "Business."
A business is larger and more vague than a product. For example, you may post a new Samsung Galaxy S9 phone - this is a product. You can’t post "Samsung" itself - this is a business.
Also, you can’t post a local product. Steemhunt is a global community, so you should bring something that everyone can enjoy.
Please read our Posting Guideline here, and let me know in our Discord Channel if you've updated your post on Steemhunt (by clicking the ""edit"" button). Find the #mod-jayplayco Channel and always add your STEEMHUNT link for questions. Thanks"
