This small gadget is of great help to both individuals and communities. It is a 60-second advance earthquake notifier. Although apparently, it's a short period of time, it is enough time to execute emergency measures. In addition, it is designed to be accessible to low-income areas.
“Terra” has two opposite modes, which differ through sound and light design. In case of an incoming non-destructive earthquake, a calming sound supported by a slowly pulsating light, advises the user to stay calm and helps to avoid panic. In the event of an incoming, potentially destructive earthquake, “terra” emits a strong alarming sound and an intrusive pulsating red light, letting the user know to take immediate action and seek shelter.

Sometimes the situations we live in, make it impossible for us to be aware of anything other than our own survival and that of our families. So, anything that avoids concern will be welcome. 😄
What a great technology!!. Though the time of notification is small, but one will not be caught unaware. This is a great breakthrough technology that will save life. I believed the maker can improve on it so that it can give at least 24hrs notification. Nice hunt
Yeah, it's really a great invention that can save a lot of lives. Unfortunately, you can only be warned 60 seconds before the event due to earthquake behavior.
But you can also establish emergency policies for when the alarm is activated. Find your loved ones and/or relatives and go to an earthquake safe place within your own home. Or follow earthquake safety measures.
At least you have time to run out of the bathroom 😉
I would like to mention that SteemHunt does not attract my attention, however, I learned that there are many very good inventions that go missing (for many absurd reasons) and must be promoted so that they can receive economic support to make them accessible to the general public and help save lives or improve the people's life quality.
