I have joined this Meetup membership since June. I have created some events for people in Singapore to join. So far the response are quite good and i will see the next 2 events results in 2 days time. Stay Tune.

Basically How Meetup Works?
We can Create a Meetup and draw from a community of millions.
We can also Find a Meetup by discover local Meetups for all the things you love.

My Meetup is in Singapore, probably Steemian can setup this for meetup too.

既然介绍的产品不被批准我来说说我在Meetup 遇到的一些新鲜事。为了可以有更多人来上我的美丽课，我六月买了这个meetup的会员。是的是要给钱的，原本看到要付钱也不想买。后来看到其他顾问不断有新人来上课，觉得没有试试怎么知道不行呢？所以决定试一试。半年新币65。

上周第一个来的人是男的印度人是有点怪怪的。今天来了一个女生，还好还算正常。但她跟我分享了她在Meetup 认识了几个怪男生😂第一次见面就突然拉她小手而且眼神怪怪的。果然这Meetup里怪人真多。

我在Meetup放上的化妆课反应热烈。明天预约的超过十人，但一半的没有确定会不会来。明天是假期我也真害怕会有怪人来我会应付不来，我邀请了我老师一起来保护我😂希望明天一切顺利💗

Pros:

Promote the term: "stay" is one of the most interesting Meetup, since most of these groups do not go much beyond being "forums" and give you the real possibility of meeting people. Moreover, when you create a group, you "commit" to having real events in which people get to know each other and face each other.
It is a good tool to meet communities of people interested in your services / ideas / products near you, if you want to carry out an effective and non-commercial networking.
From the business point of view, it could be a great platform to launch ideas tests, connecting with influencers and real potential clients.

Cons:

The impossibility of creating groups with interests that Meetup does not already have collected, or the reality of some groups, in which very few people confirm attendance at the Meetup, or there is little movement in them.
When you start, it is not a platform with which it is easy to work if you do not know it, and it costs the new user.
