One of the most discouraging things for people who are blind or visually impaired is that they are almost doomed to miss out on certain experiences that are only visually possible. However, that could have come to an end as Graphiti is a real-time reactive screen capable of reproducing in detail almost any type of video, image or audiovisual experience.
Graphiti’s breakthrough technology allows graphics to be depicted by means of an array of variable-height pins. To change to the next graphic, the pins on the refreshable display move up and down to create a tactile representation of the graphic. Graphiti can display topographical maps and other features such as grey levels and colors.

This will greatly help people with vision problems but want to experience the same as people who can see. Impressive hunt.
I think that's a great invention for blind people when you read the description. The representation of graphics and pictures by pins, so that these can be felt. Only blind people can decide how functional this is. But for me it looks like a good and helpful product. Many thanks for the hunt.
Amazing product for the blind and disable, i once had a blind friend though late, and i know how he interpret thing via pin punctured on paper and seeing the multilevel touch display devices it will be of great help for them to interpret images and videos. Great hunt

My cousin is blind and i am happy to see technology is working for blind people too, this multilevel touch display can give them real feeling of touch and see.
Every day technology seeks the exclusion of people and eliminating the limitations for people with disabilities, this tool is an example of this. This helps the user to perceive by means of the touch the videos, images between other since it counts a series of pins of variable height. Great impressive hunting.
A great device for those are with special needs. This device allows then to create graphics easily by touching it, same as touch display. including pie charts, bar graphs, geometric forms, maps, floor-plans, flow-charts, line drawings, and dynamic graphical content a awesome way to help these people to show their talents.

WONDERFUL HUNT! It is possible to describe almost everything to a blind person, but using braille concept to let them understand something first hand is absolutely game changing!
In the demo video they show some mathematical diagrams and graphs which is also a great use of graphiti to make a concept more understandable and definite! I love the idea.
I wonder how heavy is it and how portable the whole contraption is
