PARASIM is a pretty cool virtual reality simulator for training people on how to use or deploy a Parachute effectively. This simulator makes it really safe for people to practice without any dangers, risk and failure because everything is done in a realistic virtual reality environment. It is also easy and cost-effective.
Recreating the experience of a real jump.
From the head-mounted 3D VR display to the suspension harness that detects jumper inputs, the physics-based parachute simulation technology in PARASIM recreates the conditions of a live jump. Controls, real world scenes, malfunctions, wind profiles, various weather conditions, and a full library of terrain types add up to a realistic experience.

Cool this could really be an important way for a person to get to learn about the whole procedure of deploying parachute. While dont know but if ever gotten any chance then probably would try out this method indeed. Cool Hunt !!
I think this is a great start for anybody who ants to dip their toes on the parachute jumping. I'm still not convinced about VR simulations being as good as he real deal. But if you use PARASIM as a training tool, then you can achieve great benefits.
The biggest benefit would be the cost savings. Flying is costly. The pilots are costly. It also takes a lot of time for take off, landing and repeating the full thing again. In VR you can repeat things fast and it barely cost anything. The resources can be freed to do other stuff.
A full virtual reality parachute learning tool that wiil create the perfect environment for feel the real parachuting experience. It is also a risk free traning system that allows you to get practice parachuting.
Parachuting is a tough hobby which required dare, technique and control over fear. It is difficult yhing to control while you are falling freely. Parasim is a nice simulator which will help user to have better control. The simulator is also a great gift for people who love to fly
Cannot imagine the possibilities of VR technology. With this simulator you cam learn parachuting with risking your life. Ofcaurse you have to jump from a plan to do parachuting but this technology allows you to try out and practice on ground and make it right when you are actually doing it.
