Hunter's comment

Steemit and steemhunt both encourage manual curation and the value of it is acknowledged by everyone. Journalism is one field where curation of posts can matter a lot. Curio is an innovative app from Britain that curates news from top news media companies and narrates them for you.

Dont have the time to read, well plug in your earphone at work and start listening.

At Curio, we handpick content from leading publications and turn them into beautifully narrated audio you can listen to at any time, anywhere.

To me ... Curio is felt more like a personal assistant, who picks what important and really matters to you ... and in doing so, it saves a lot of time and allow you to be more productive ... It has some very useful and excellent features as well.

Hey @mobi72, yeah kind of see where you're coming from and true it is like a PA, doing my work of searching for me.

This a great innovation from Curio, providing its user's what's more important. The data that is there is humungous and spending the time to get the best is going to be tedious. Curio proving the bests of information and that too in the form of audio makes information more valuable. Price of Apprx. $60 is though at a higher end but considering one Year subscription seems to be ok. Nice hunt mate. Cheers.

Yeah price can be lower but service is truly unique and saves time for the reader.

I'm a big fan of audio books. After all, it's a great way to learn while you're stuck in the commute, so you don't end up wasting your time. So, this is actually a great extension of that.

What I find most interesting about this product, though, is the selection of news sites that users can get their news from. With articles from The Washington Post, Aeon, and The Economist, this looks like a bargain at about $60 a year, especially if you already pay subscriptions to these services. Let's just hope that the narrators sound as good as the service makes them out to be. It would be disappointing if they weren't. Good thing there's a free trial so no need to commit to the service blind.

Yeah, the service isn't expensive as long as it covers the important news articles. I dont like reading gossip but facts and decent op-eds will be useful if narrated without bias.
