From experiencing prototypes from CAD drawings, to treating PTSD, applications of VR are immense. What I am worried about is that VR can eventually limit our life to a box like room forever. Hope that's not the case, but for now, if you want to experience something extreme- how about climbing mtm everest on VR?!
Everest VR lets you do that. The overall imagery is built from a large database of 300k images
Prepare for your expedition at Basecamp, traverse the terrifying Khumbu Icefalls, overnight at Camp 4, ascend the perilous Hillary Step, and finally conquer the summit of Everest.
After completing your first summit attempt, unlock God Mode to reach a unique vantage point of the Himalayas only possible in VR.

We can't go everywhere on Earth because of various constraints, such as time, distance, health and cost. If VR devices allow us to experience various places on Earth, we can be free from these limitations. VR contents that you told me is climbing experience of Mt. Everest. This mountain is a mountain where professional climbers can climb and not for everyone. So we can have a special experience through this VR and it will be very fun.

Thank you @joannewong!
If to this VR simulator we add a super powerful air-conditioning why to go outdoors? Excellent app I love how well designed are the lines of the rendered images of the Everest I've seen several videos and really looks amazing how incredible the details that this simulation offers us. I think this simulator combined with a treadmill climber and a super powerful air conditioner would give us the same experience of climbing Everest or am I wrong?
Not a fan of climbing mountains but this looks interesting. You can have all the benefits of the view without the effort or having to risk your life.
Congratulations!
