Ever imagine that a home can be smart and portable? Bringing yourself to anywhere you want and your home follows along? That can be made possible with Kasita, a futuristic, smart home.
The basic layout is 11'9" to 31'9" with a total area of 374ft². A comfortable space for a young couple or solo lifestyle. The space is flexible whereby living room and bedroom are integrated into one and convertable when needed. This saves up spaces and cost. Besides, the house also designed with IoT integration that makes it smart. You can automate your house with the help of virtual assistance in terms of lighting, ventilation, heater, cooking appliances, security and entertainment.
In terms of reservation, they had a streamline process for the buyer to follow. Here is a summary for the steps:
- Choose the site (under your own cost but can be facilitate by Kasita)
- Plan your budget with them
- Make your reservation by confirming all the space layout
- Acquire all relevant permits (done by local consultants and facilitate by Kasita)
- Get a contractor to ready the site (can be facilitate by Kasita)
- Finally, Kasita deliver and install your home
They offer 3 level of finishings with pricing from 89,000USD to 129,000 USD. The difference can be seen here whereby the higher the level, the better the finishes, appliacnes and technology used.
To me, it is one of a kind product that should get some attention :)

Thanks for this amazing hunt. Sadly enough though, I can not approve it as the Kasita homes are not yet available. We only approve pre-order products backed by a crowdfunding campaign as per our posting guidelines.

I was nust telling a friend about these the other day. Buy a bunch of land, buy some of these portables homes and turn them into a guesthouse business. Haha one could only dream
Ah, haha. But I think for a portable home like that which cost over than 100k USD is overrated (if it includes transport & installation then I might consider).
Security could be an issue if using this in Malaysia. Haha
