Hey friends, I got a great hunt for you today that will help us to protect the environment from erosion in many different landscapes and scenarios. Many people do not realize how serious of a problem this is in some places of the world, but now we have a way to help combat these problems.
This is Romu, a sheet pile driving robot that autonomously builds erosion barriers from interlocking metal sheets in natural terrain.
Proper soil stabilization is key to sustainable land management in industries such as construction, mining, and agriculture; and land degradation, the loss of ecosystem services from a given terrain, is a driver of climate change and is estimated to cost up to $10 trillion annually.

The danger of erosion is devastating, it cause loss of fertile land therefore led to food shortage, it degrades land and degrade lands will able to hold onto water that much hence it worsen flooding and it pile up sediment in streams and rivers, block waterways. Great to see a robot particular made for erosion barrier purposes.

This is such a useful one.erosion of land is rising in many areas of earth.which comes as a biggest lost.it is good that people will awared about it to take necessary steps.useful idea.
Hell yeah! Instead of all our wasted tax payer extortion fee's being wasted let's build a butt load of these and turn them lose!??! Can we make one that runs around planting hemp?!
