Each one of us knows and experiences what music can do to our minds and bodies. Music is power, energy and life . I'm really into music most especially when I am doing my daily work out routines. I believed that music can move the focus of our attention from the fatigue caused by workouts to the pleasure derived from listening to music. Since then, I used to wear my earphones when I'm doing my workout in a gym or in a running field. After a while, the common problem I always encounter is the feeling of pain due to large size of the earphones or sometimes, the earpiece falling out.

Until JBL company have released the JBL Reflect fit. YES! I could tell that it is the perfect one I need. The JBL Reflect Fit headphones connect to your listening device through Bluetooth 4.2, so you’ll get a standard connection range of 10 meters, or 33 feet. You can't experience any real skips or connectivity issues, except at unreasonable distances and through obstacles. The good thing in using this is aside from giving you a great sounds, it can also measure your heart rate from your ear.The battery life comes in at 10 hours, which isn’t all that bad. If you’re good at remembering to charge up your devices, the 10 hour battery life should be plenty for you. Speaking of volume, these headphones do get pretty loud. So you’ll have no issue taking these to the gym and jamming out to your favorite playlist while getting a sweat on. Yes, it is a sweatproof design. It is very comfortable to use knowing that it is water resistant that can be used in the rain, as well as rinsed off.

In terms with the sound quality, once you put them into your ears, you’ll be met with some incredible sounding audio. It gives the best sounding audio of any pair of neckband earbuds. The sound coming out of these are nice and full, the bass is deep, but not too deep. I admit that i am a bass lover guy. The mids and highs are also pretty clear, which is nice to see. Even when you turn the volume all the way up on the Reflect Fit, the audio quality doesn’t really get distorted at all, it still remains really good sounding. The earpieces are outfitted with clear silicone tips that includes a set of small, medium and large ear tips in the box. The fit is exceptionally secure, it has the “wing”, which helps them stay in your ears. It's really nice in the ears, and that’s something you can’t say about every pair of earbuds out there. It is also house the internal heart rate monitor, which works with a various fitness apps. However, you also don't need an app to use the heart rate monitor. You just properly position the earpieces and pressing the Heart button will give you a read out (or ask you to adjust the eartips until a heart rate can be detected). The heart rate monitor does seem to require that the eartips are thoroughly sealed and in place, more so than is necessary when simply enjoying the earphones for audio.

Availability:

Available in red, blue, black, or teal models, the Reflect Fit has a collarband that rests around the lower neck—the reflective cables extend the earpieces up to the ears. The exterior is a rubber material and is rated at IPX5, which means the earphones can withstand low pressure water from any direction. Don't submerge the the Reflect Fit.

On the left side of the collarband, there are Plus and Minus buttons for controlling volume and track navigation. A long press goes to the next or previous track. We're not huge fans of combining those two functions on the same button—it's too easy to skip a track when you meant to only adjust the volume. On the right, there's a Heart Rate Monitor button and a multifunction button that controls playback and call management.

The strong seal of the in-ears and the presence of a collarband may not be for everyone, but all in all, it's another winner in the wireless exercise department from JBL, The JBL Reflect Fit have a whole lot going for them. From their impressive sound, to their great battery life and even great build quality. It’s actually really difficult to find something not to like about the JBL Reflect Fit. The price is around $150.00. It's a little bit expensive but I’m telling you, it's worth the price.

FACT
It earns as one of the Editors' Choice award for its solid design, performance, and functionality.

So here’s the video of the product from the JBL website:

PROS:

  1. Impressive audio
  2. Great battery life
  3. Great design
  4. Easy to use heart rate monitor gives live results, can also sync with popular fitness apps.
