I have been a drone pilot for several years now and am heavily into drone flying in different capacities (hobby, photography, survey, etc...). As with any hobby, you sometimes get to a point where to get further in your hobby, you need to just build your own.

This can be pretty daunting with FPV's, drones, and the like. Components are expensive, and if you mess up, you're out of luck. For the purposes of education and furthering aerospace/aeronautical STEM, these guys have developed a methodology for reproducing flight ready kits to help kids, adults, or any kind of hobbyist to get off the ground. I highly recommend this.

They take failure and make it really really really cheap. If you crash your plane or fail your build, you're not out hundreds of USD. It's just a few USD. That's it.

The kits included quality components that you would buy just about anywhere (servos, motors, microcontrollers, propellors, batteries, etc..), but are collected for you along with professionally machined foam core fuselages.

The foam core is designed in-house by a team of experienced engineers and pilots to create timeless replicas you may be familiar with.

I have recently started building these with local teenagers and can atest to how amazing a teaching tool these can be.

Hi @r351574nc3- Unfortunately your hunt cannot be approved. Please visit the Steemhunt Posting Guidelines to see what type of hunts will be approved.

Please specifically look at Guidelines 2. Types of Products to Post

While the lack of a product page on a website is problematic, a kit build is not really the type of products we're after at Steemhunt. We're really after supercool, innovative and smart products. Sorry!

Here is a helpful Guidelines Infographic
Please visit our Discord Server and the channel #moderation-appeal if you wish to discuss this decision.

Happy hunting!

oh, cool. Thanks.

Eager to see if this is approved or not. I know there's an e-commerce link, but unfortunately, that's the only link for the product.

Um, unfortunately...

???

As a fan of FliteTest, I also recommend some people I know in my group to build ft mini arrow first which is simpler and cheaper before getting into this hobby :)

Wow. I feel like I have stumbled into steemit's hidden FPV community.

That does look really easy to get started with.

My first project with a group of teenagers was this one Alpha, Bravo, Charlie. I thought

It's designed by teenagers as part of a STEM program. Stands to reason teenagers should be able to build it right?

It took us approximately 10 hours total and we did it.

Glad to see fellow FPV in steemit 😂. I miss my previous community group since I move to another city.

Thats really nice design. First I read about alpha, bravo, charlie design my mind is blown because it can switch the design easily and its designed by really young people.

Mostly in my previous group, we are doing geo-mapping and photogrammetry using our favorite FT Spear and FT Versa (somehow that design become mainstream standard in local people 😆). We do like to crash a lot and fly out of range and never came back back then (especially quadrotor group😅).
