I have never really been into virtual reality, however this app is something that gets me excited. I enjoy playing poker and PokerVR is a free app available for Samsung Gear and Oculus Go.
It is a multiplayer VR poker experience and apparently it is the highest grossing free to play experience in the Oculus store.
If you enjoy playing poker and have an Oculus Go or Samsung Gear I cannot think of any downside to this app.
Life-like avatars that move their lips when you speak and make body expressions is kind of cool and with this particular app I wonder if the players develop “poker tells” over time? That would be kind of interesting. . .
There are daily cash game tables and large tournaments. Sounds like they have everything covered regarding what a poker player is looking for. The visuals appear to be top notch and I imagine it is only better during the in play experience.
