Treating cancer is killing the cancer cells as well as the patient too. The treatments available now with us is limited and have a lot of risks.
This licensed medicine method will allow the patient to have some painless treatment without more side effect to his body.

Most therapeutic cancer vaccines available today require doctors to first remove the patient’s immune cells from the body, then reprogram and introduce them back into the body. The Wyss Institute’s initial approach uses a small disk-like sponge about the size of a fingernail that is made from FDA-approved polymers. The sponge is implanted under the skin and is designed to recruit and reprogram a patient’s own immune cells “on site,” instructing them to travel through the body, home in on cancer cells, then kill them.

thank you mod!

Well, there are countless of people who have cancer and it is not easy to fight with them because of the chemotherapy that will kill the good and the bad cells in your body. This is another method to kill the cancer cells in the patient and hoping that this will continues so that cancer people will not suffer again.

Cancer is the most dangerous disease in the world. Still this is an unsloved disease and thousands of people expire annually from around the globe. I am a bit surprised to see this app which seems a very interesting and problem solving:

Implantable Cancer Vaccine - recruit patient's own immune cells "on site" to kill cancer.

This is the 1st innovation which seems a better step in medical science. I bet and also I am pretty sure now we will get the solution of cancer soon. Thanks a lot for searching and sharing a great hunt. Good day

quite a unique hunt but indeed informative yep only those who are suffering from this disease can understand the real pain and we all know the side effects of cancer treatment. so if this would help in treatment and as your post is describing with fewer side effects then every hospital should adopt this ASAP

If this is marketable for everyone, it would be a game changer. But I think the government would not allow this kind of scientific research or something. Because it would lose some of the jobs working in a Hospital. I hope this thing reaches to every place in the earth I guess.

So, the headline had me thinking this was the ultimate hunt - all others are fighting for 2nd place.

But...whilst this is impressive tech, and I believe one of the most promising ways of fighting cancer, the video is from 2014. So, it's not exactly new. I wonder where we are now with this solution?

The idea of fighting cancerous cells in this way seems great, but if it were as successful as it appears in the promo video, I'm sure it would be the standard treatment by now.

I think they're on the right track, delivering tumour fighting cells/drugs into the body and let the body fight the cancer, but it obviously must need more work to get the ultimate result!

Very promising, though! A great hunt :)

This is an exciting find! The idea of treating cancer "on-site" in a way that won't compromise the patient's immune system or expose the patient to harmful chemicals is worth watching out for. I also like how the vaccine itself can also serve as a diagnostic tool for auto-immune diseases.

Hope the researchers can progress beyond clinical trials and succeed in developing a vaccine that can be used for mass production. Great find!

Though I've already studied the basics of genetic engineering but I got a chance to dig it deeper when I was selected for a Steem contest by @fulltimegeek and it was a very informative experiment. During that study, I came across the same solution what this product is proposing. Thanks for refreshing my info by sharing this hunt. It's excellent piece of work.

It's great to see engineering taking new approaches to cancer vaccines, especially with the rising of the global cancer epidemic. Nice hunt!

This is a great breakthrough it will help many patients to live a normal and healthy life we should spread this news so i am gonna share it on my facebook wall
