Laser strikes are very harmful in the aviation field. Laser strikes distract the pilot which leads to harm in many forms.
Over the last five years there have been about 40,000 laser incidents reported to the FAA
During the critical phase of flight, laser attack will result in the worst happenings. This glass will protect from laser glare, the aircraft and the people inside are safe with the pilot who is wearing a MetaAIR glass.
When a laser beam hits an aircraft windshield, tiny scratches and dirt on the windshield create a glare effect which spreads the light across the pilot’s field of vision. Pilots do not see this light as a small beam or dot; they experience a large glow which can be difficult to see through.

This is one of the coolest product hunts of today. While developed for pilots, I can imagine it would be good to use in lots of other situations, like at festivals where lasers are used a lot, and maybe at some point in time also when driving a car, or even bike, or maybe even when walking the streets. I certainly hope the later is all not required, but with more and more lasers coming to the market, more people may use lasers to harm others in one or the other way. Super cool product!
Getting a laser blasted in your eyes is no fun. And it's definitely not safe so this product is very welcomed.
That's probably the most obvious thing to say... but ok =)
there are lots of issues with vision lots of people are effected by laserz and this is the best protection for eyes ...

Great find! I just googled this product and the search result shows that it has won the Aviation Week's award (like the Oscars for the Aviation industry) and an Italian Design award in the category of personal protection equipment!

Now many hurts would be avoided and our eyes protected from damage
I think all pilots on flights should get this to avoid any harmful attacks

Didn't know it was so common for aviation to be targets of these... to be honest I don't know why people bother with these attacks... You can already GPS spot the aggressors and dispatch police at once in the US. Soon drones will do the same around airports... its just a matter of time.
