Steemhunt - a godsend for planktons & minnows

If you are new to the Steem blockchain or you are wondering how you could grow your account without writing a great blog (not everyone has to be genius author, right?), you should definitely get familiar with the @steemhunt project.

There are a lot of posts with the introduction to the SteemHunt platform and project overall. I really admire and recommend guides created by @chuuuckie called SteemHunt for Dummies:

Let's assume, that you already know what is SteemHunt, how to create an account there, and how the platform works in general.

How I can grow my plankton / minnow account with SteemHunt dapp?

Generally, in our world, there are two basic ways of earning money / crypto / goods / something which is valueable for us: labour and investing. If you already have a resources, you should invest them to benefit from different types of levers (money makes money and you have to deal with that, unless we will develop Steem blockchain to the point that we could revert this economic rule). If you don't have resources, you need to work for someone to get those as reward for your contribution.

I assume, you don't have many Steem / Steem Power / SBD in your wallet, otherwise you won't need my advices. Therefore, the way for grow your Steem account is to contribute to SteemHunt project with your work. You can do that with two simple contributions:

1. Hunting for cool, innovative products

If you will post a great hunt, which will be approved by the moderator (again, read the guides) and your hunt will receive enough hunting score from the SteemHunt community, you are eglible to receive an upvote from SteemHunt account. It's not so hard to achieve, if you post your hunt just after KST midnight, following the posting guidelines, you have really big change to get qualified. Upvote weight from SteemHunt account depends from your internal Hunter Level (until you will reach level 1, you won't receive any upvotes from SH, so you need first give something to the project until you will start to receive benefits, totally fair IMHO). Even if you are just level 1, the upvote reward received from SH is significant, especially if your account balance is really low. Just check the posts upvoted by Steemhunt, to see that they are really valuable. For me, it took 3 weeks to grow from level 0 to level 3, and I'm spending on the SH platform approx. 30 minutes per day, so I really advice you to build your Hunter's rank and post new hunts on a daily basis.

2. Review and upvote other Hunter's hunt

Second option is upvtoing and commenting on other Hunter's hunts. This way is not so time consuming as posting a new hunts, but you can also receive incredible results, because SteemHunt will upvote your comments (up to 3 comments per day, according to my knowledge) which are at least 80 characters long and you have upvoted the hunt with 100% voting power (again, that may be validated in the guides). The upvote weight depends from you level, but If you look on upvoted comments, you will notice that this is great option for earning Steem.

By building your Hunter's rank to at least level 1, you can easily earn 50 Steem/SP per month, without spending many hours on writing great content. This is power of Steem dapps like SteemHunt. Even Plankton and Minnow accounts, without having great blogging skills can benefit and contribute to the Steem blockchain. As I'm quite new to the Steem blockchain, after one month of my presence I can honestly tell you, that @steemhunt project had a big impact on growth of my account:

You have to also understand, that Steem / SBD is not the only one reward received from the platform.
