to add onto the hunt i just put earlier, looks like we have a super clean application for ios to connect to that new version of mumble that's just come out. i'm not sure what audio codec's they are using these days but certainly going to try it out again, i always found mumble to have superior sounding audio and handled itself very nicely across poor networking.
maybe i'll revisit that idea i had for an addon for this now! :)
