Have you've been familiar with Bookworm game in PC? I myself got hooked on that one before. A worm fighting some monsters with the help of your vocabulary. This time Popsilcle Games created a new game ( Not yet been officially released but you can still download and try) Word Odyssey. I myself downloaded this app to give it a go. It is around 29mb so I can just delete it if incase that I will not be liking it anymore.

First things first after downloading and starting the game. I immediately turned off the wifi. So this game, doesn't need to be connected to the internet it is a pros for me. Plus you have extra 50 coins immediately.

For your character to move, you will need to submit an English word using the letters below the screen. 5 letters are required only for a faster, but you can still submit words 3 letters minimum I guess because I was able to spell SAW, Tried spelling A, IS but it was not accepted though.

The good thing on this game is once you finished a map you will get a STAMP from that city. There's also a tracker wherein it would show the words that you have created only the total count, vowels and consonants that you frequently used.

Pros:

• This is totally free and even though that it is still under development whcih means that there may be bugs in there still it is a worth time killer.
• Offline access!
• No need to pay for anything for premium item
• Can enhance ones vocabulary in a fun way

Cons:

• Aside from it is still under development I can't think of any
