It's honestly taken me a while to figure out exactly what iShook was. For all the problems with social media that iShook raised, it seemed like they were intending to add to those problems... but from what I've read, it seems like they're intending to be the Amazon Bookstore of the blockchain.

They offered solutions to problems, without actually explaining what their proposed solution was... so it's hard to figure out what they're offering.

Basically... authors get paid for people to read their books, and readers get paid to read those same books. It will have a social media/chat aspect regarding those books... so like GoodReads.

They already have thousands of books available for readers,

It's different to Steem in the way that it has a native ebook reader attached.
iShook.com is a social media platform. iShookdaily.com is a blogging platform. iShookstore.com is their book selling store.

Haven't quite worked out where the money comes from yet, but the whole point is for the authors to connect directly with their readers.
